Define the destination country, port and proposed off-hire depot. Check customs status, inland movement and who can accept the return.
What to include.
- Origin country, pickup city and preferred collection depot.
- Destination country, discharge port and final inland destination.
- Proposed off-hire depot and the receiving party.
- 20GP, 20HQ, 40GP or 40HQ, quantity and pickup date.
- Cargo description and any handling, inspection or import requirements.
Separate equipment, carriage and return.
A destination city does not establish that a carrier accepts SOC equipment or that a depot will accept the return. Confirm the freight booking, customs obligations and authorised off-hire location separately before committing to the movement.
